Bearing, how, why, and when to lubricate. In bearings after a long run, especially in heat-loaded units, you can not change the grease, as the plug covering the bearing can not be removed, it turns into plastic after a long run, and just crumbles. So, when should the grease be changed or added? In critical units it is usually done immediately after purchase, unfortunately not all manufacturers put enough grease. It may also be that the bearing has been in storage for a long time and the grease may have dried out and lost its properties, and you can change it yourself, or add the required amount. In this video I show what, how, and what to do.
