Hey, I’m Alex with Marc's Mobility! In this video, we’re talking about the pros and cons of buying vs. renting a mobility scooter. While we do not rent scooters, we do sell a wide range of scooters at affordable prices.
Renting a scooter can be convenient for one-time use, like visiting a theme park, but the costs can quickly add up. For example, smaller scooters rent for around $35/day, but with delivery, damage fees, accessories, and taxes, a 3-day rental can easily cost $200–$250. You also risk limited availability and scooters in unknown condition, which can affect your experience.
Buying a scooter gives you daily access, long-term use, and peace of mind. Models like the Victory 10, Go-Go Sport, and Go-Go Elite Traveler 2 range from $1,300 to $3,000, with features like folding options, airline-approved batteries, portability, and higher weight capacities. For larger scooters or daily travel, vehicle lifts can also make transporting your scooter easy and convenient.
Buying a scooter can be cost-effective over time, with many models lasting 5–7 years of daily use. We also offer financing options, including no-interest plans, to make ownership more accessible.
At Marks Mobility, we help you choose the right scooter based on your height, weight, travel needs, and lifestyle. Check the links in the description or give us a call to find the perfect scooter for you.
