What does Scarthgap look like from the developer's perspective? When the Yocto Project fielded an RFQ with the backing of the Sovereign Tech Fund last year, one of the key areas for development was the project's tooling and build workflows. These include the automated Patchtest service, and numerous improvements to key project components such as devtool and recipetool.
Trevor Gamblin of @Baylibre shares details of the changes to these tools for the Scarthgap release, and give examples of how they simplify the developer experience for contributors and maintainers alike.
