Lord Ruthven is a Dark Ambient project. Trained in classical music, this musician was active as a concert pianist and a recording artist in the Black Metal scene of the 1990’s. Infused with deep melancholy, Lord Ruthven’s music expresses Byronic longing for the unattainable, and the beauty of solitude and darkness.
The young French label Remparts Productions is mainly oriented Black Metal but does not hesitate to offer different styles such as Dark Ambient or Neo folk. Each release must be a surprise, a discovery for those who follow the label.
