Earl Wilson seems to have a loose grasp on geography when it comes to what represents 'The East' which includes Africa and Greece alongside Asia! But hey this was a different time and another example of exploito marketing in the Sixties so best not to take this notion too seriously.
The photographer of the album cover, Gai Terrell, seems to have had an illustrious career though taking pictures of legends like Thelonious Monk, Horace Silver, Dizzy Gillespie, Bob Dylan, Frank Zappa, Bob Marley and many more.
