~ Game of Thrones Filming Locations in Real Life ~

Game of Thrones and its prequel, House of Dragons are much loved by fans all over the world.

In this video, I have shared Top 5 Game of Thrones filming locations in real life (all located in Northern Ireland)! Interestingly, you can visit all locations. In no particular order of appearance in the series, they are:

Winterfell - Filmed at the farmyard in Castleward and Audley's castle (2 locations).

Winterfell was the stronghold of the House of Stark - "Winterfell" is the first episode of the eighth season of HBO's television series Game of Thrones.

The Battle of the Whispering Wood - Filmed at Inch Abbey, Northern Ireland.

The Battle of the Whispering wood was a pivotal battle during the War of the Five Kings and was fought between the armies of House Stark, under the command of Robb Stark, and the armies of House Lannister, under the command of Ser Jaime Lannister. It ended with a victory for the Stark forces.

Renly Baratheon's Camp - Filmed at the Larrbane Quarry.

Located just beside the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge in County Antrim, this disused limestone quarry at Larrybane was chosen as the location for Renly Baratheon's camp in Season 2, Episode 3. It now serves as a car park for visitors.

House of Greyjoy - Filmed at the Dunluce Castle - The famous Dunluce Castle in Antrim, Northern Ireland, represents the House of Greyjoy, ruler of the Iron Islands in the series.
