Superlative - 1990s Anime Montage of Greatest Memorable Scenes
An idea I've had for a while - never been able to fully realise but this is as close as I've got; I mostly based this on pre-existing anime opening sequences but set it to a pitched tuned (down) version of Street Racer's opening theme on the Super Nintendo / Famicon
The idea is to show the extreme unrelenting action scenes that set Japanese animation apart from most others, from the quality of the art, the rapid frame rates, the great storyboarding telling a series of quick actions, all too fast to be able to really understand what is happening but still think it's awesome!
