If you haven't already, watch part 1: • Making a Custom P-47d Airplane Bed pt1
Big BitsStudio was asked to design and build a WWII twin sized P-47d airplane bed for a themed bedroom. Part 2 of this build shows how we went from a foam and plywood frame to the finished upholstered bed.
We fiberglassed the foam and plywood in a heated room. After everything cured, we took it to Myers Upholstery and upholstered the bed, along with all the finishing touches before the airplane bed left the shop.
