Road Repair Pt. 3: Using the Martin Ditcher
The Martin Ditcher is a simple and clever tool used while making a road. Pulled by draft animals, the tool carves a neat edge and creates a little ditch along your road. It's just one of many tools you can use when working with a team of draft horses, oxen, or donkeys.
We have helped communities in Central America make their own versions of Martin Ditchers and this video shows a few seconds of a clip from one of our international projects.
