Earth Is Spinning Faster Than Ever 😲
The earth has been spinning abnormally quick lately.
In 2022, it set a new record. June 29, 2022, marked the shortest day since records began in the 1960s. On that day, the Earth completed one full rotation around its axis in 1.59 milliseconds less than 24 hours. The previous record for the shortest rotation was on July 19, 2020.
