Moringa Smoothie
1 tablespoon of Moringa powder
1 ripe banana
A handful of fresh spinach
Half a cup of Greek yogurt
A cup of almond milk or any milk of your choice
A dash of honey or agave syrup if desired.
Toss everything into your blender. Start with the spinach and banana, then add the Moringa powder and Greek yogurt. Pour in the almond milk and finally, if you're using any, drizzle in the sweetener.
Blend until smooth for thirty seconds to a minute. If the consistency is too thick, add a handful of ice cubes to thin it out and chill it at the same time. Enjoy!
Moringa Stir Fry
Fresh Moringa leaves,
Chopped onions,
Diced bell peppers
Sliced or Diced mushrooms
Minced garlic,
A dash of your preferred cooking oil
salt and pepper for taste.
Heat your pan over medium heat. Once it's hot, add the oil and let it spread across the pan.
Toss in your chopped onions. Sauté them until they become translucent
Add Moringa leaves - remember that the leaves cook pretty quickly, so be sure not to overcook them.
Add your minced garlic, bell peppers or mushrooms. Keep stirring until everything is well combined and the Moringa leaves have wilted slightly.
Finally, season your stir-fry with some salt and pepper, adjust according to your taste, and give it a final mix. Serve and Enjoy!
Moringa Tea (2 cups)
2 handfuls of fresh Moringa leaves or 2 teaspoons of dried leaves if fresh not available
3 cups of water
Honey or lemon to taste (optional)
Boil the water in a pot.
Wash your Moringa leaves thoroughly if you're using fresh ones.
Once the water comes to a rolling boil, add the Moringa leaves -
Remember - For every cup of water, you want to add a handful of fresh leaves or a teaspoon of dried ones.
Allow the leaves to steep in the boiling water for about five to seven minutes. You'll notice the water changing color to a deep green, which is a sign that your tea is nearly ready.
After the steeping time is over, strain the tea into your favorite mug. oil until the water changes colour
Add your honey or lemon to taste. Enjoy!
