Gone Solar & Wind Power !
We are in the proses of building a 2.5 klw solar wind system .. The wind generator uses a Nippendenso stator & charging system from an 86 Yamaha xt 600 It is producing 5 amps Immediately & uses a 12 blade rotor made from pvc rain barrels we will see what the max is soon - just installed today The Solar is a Do It Yourself 500 pack of polycrystalline 3BB 4w 8.63 amp solar cells bought off ebay = BIG POWER For under$600 ! total for everything including 2 x12v deepcycle under $1200 !!!The system is under construction - we'll keep u posted !Everything was built using recycled materials except the solar cells! :-D
