Join the Frontier Culture Museum and Talon Silverhorn for the final lecture of our Lord Dunmore's War Weekend event that was held on September 7 & 8, 2024. Silverhorn presents on the Shawnee Perspectives of Lord Dunmore's War, the last colonial conflict before the American Revolution, or some might say, the first conflict of the American Revolution.
Talon Silverhorn is a citizen of The Eastern Shawnee Tribe and has been an interpreter since 2007. Talon has interpreted Shawnee lifeways at historic sites and museums across the U.S. and Canada, with a focus on material culture and its connection to deeper cultural beliefs. He was the Keynote speaker for the 2022 National Association for Interpretation and has been a featured speaker for Archeological organizations, museums, and over a dozen universities.
