Christmas Light Show 2020 - Very First Show!
After lots of work, we finally got the show to a "recordable state". It still isn't perfect, but we have learned a lot for next year's show. Also, this video only contains half of the songs. The rest of the 6 can be seen in person, or I might make another video.
The show is controlled by a Raspberry Pi 4 running falcon pi player. We are using a TPLink Archer A6 for the show router, and all the lights are controlled by 8 esp8266s. The esp8266s are running WLED and are sent their data via wifi.
2 of the 4 trees were not working at the time of filming this video, and so they are not included. You may notice some lag at times. This is most likely due to the wifi channels being clogged up by our neighbors.
All the sequences shown in this video were sequenced by me, but my dad did the intro (not shown in this video).
