Philippine Christian University Manila warmly opened the academic year with the College Grand Salubong 2025, an event dedicated to welcoming all college studentsโespecially the freshmen and transfereesโinto the vibrant PCU community.
The celebration was spearheaded by the Office of Student Affairs under the Student Services Office in coordination with the University Student Government of PCU Manila. Students were officially greeted by the ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐๐๐ง ๐
. ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฎ๐๐ง, together with administrators and officials from the Student Services Office, who expressed their excitement and encouragement for the new academic journey ahead.
A central highlight of the program was the presentation of ๐๐๐โ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ฌโ๐
๐๐ข๐ญ๐ก, ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐โalongside the ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒโ๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง, underscoring their vital role in guiding the holistic development of every Dolphin. The Universityโs academic and non-academic program heads also introduced school policies and guidelines, ensuring that students begin the year informed and prepared.
Complementing the formal program were lively cultural and artistic performances. The USG delivered an energetic welcoming dance to the tune of โHirayaโ, while the PCU Folk Dance Troupe and the PCU Rondalla Ensemble each presented their own captivating performances, adding a festive and inspiring atmosphere to the event.
Adding to the celebration, each college showcased their programs, activities, and unique offerings through interactive booths at Freedom Park, giving students a glimpse of the diverse opportunities that await them at PCU Manila.
The Grand Salubong not only marked the start of classes but also reaffirmed PCUโs dedication to nurturing a community where every student can thrive academically, socially, and spirituallyโguided by Faith, Character, and Service.
