In the Still of the Night - Boyz II Men ACAPELLA
Hey! 2nd video in 2 weeks! pretty good right? lol.
So for this acapella cover I wanted to take it back to my musical roots and favorite vocal group Boyz II Men. Their version of "In the Still of the Night" is actually one of the first acapella songs I ever performed in a singing group. The harmonies are straightforward, but the groove and feel of the song is so catchy and feel good.
I kept the original arrangement for the most part, but wanted to change it up during the "Shoowop" part, so I added some harmonic changes (jazzed it up a little).
Hope you like it! I'm planning on doing more of these on a regular basis...working my way up to a weekly video. And I want to hit different genres and decades, so let me know if you have any requests! Anything goes!
