Today I restoration an antique iron, a coal iron. I got it at the scrap yard for ~$10. The iron is in pretty good condition, only rusted and broken in some detail. Irons began to be used in my country around 1914 brought by the French, around 1930 began to be produced in my country ...
This iron has not really good construction material, the handle and chicken are made of aluminum tape, the iron body, the material is not really durable.
I try to restore, bring back some memories of a generation that used them.
