Ethical AI: Balancing Innovation and Social Responsibility
How can we ensure that AI is used ethically and responsibly? At the 22nd annual Social Enterprise Conference, Capital for Good, Karla Palmer, manager of AI for social good and sustainability at Google.org, discussed the social impact of technology and the ethical usage of data with Professor Dan Wang. Attendees learned how AI can be leveraged to do something good and the importance of programming and assessing decisions when it comes to AI. Attendees also learned how we can experiment with using AI for social impact and whether AI is making more or fewer ethical decisions than humans.
