Ethernet Doesn’t Have A Valid IP Configuration (Unidentified Network) Windows 10

Getting No internet access, Unidentified Network And running Windows Network Diagnostics (Troubleshooter) Results “Ethernet” doesn’t have a valid IP configuration | Problem started after recent windows 10 upgrade, there is chance Network adapter driver causing the issue either is not compatible or Corrupted while upgrade process.

Process

Restart your modem and router: Turn off your modem, router and pc. Restart your modem, give it 5 minutes, then router, give it 5 minutes, then pc. See if resolves issue.

NETWORK ADAPTER DISABLE/ENABLE
Turn off and then on Network Adapter: To do this press Windows key + R, type ncpa.cpl and hit the enter key. Right-click on the currently active network adapter and choose Disable. Right-click on the adapter and this time select Enable.

If Fails, try Next

RESET NETWORK
To reset your network: Select the Start button. Then select Settings. Select Network & Internet. Select Network Reset. Click Restart now.

FLUSH DNS/RESET IP
open Command Prompt with Admin privilege.
type these command and hit enter after each one
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock
nbtstat –r
netsh int ip reset
Restart your computer

NETSH (NETWORK CONFIG RESET)
Start menu and type “cmd“. Right-click on Command Prompt in the result and select Run as administrator.

In Command Prompt, type the following lines one by one and hit Enter after each.

netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled

Windows key + R, type ncpa.cpl hit the enter key
check the DNS configuration. Change the DNS IPs to 8.8.4.4 and 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) and check if you get rid of the limited connectivity error

POWER SAVINGS
To do this open device manager by press windows + R, type devmgmt.msc and press the Enter key.
Click on the Network adapters to expand its option.
After that right-click on the installed network adapter and chooses Properties.
Go to the Power Management Tab and uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option.
Click Ok and exit from the Device Manager.

UPDATE NETWORK DEVICE
Update the Network Adapter Driver
By updating the network Adapter Driver you can fix the internal issues of your system. In order to update this specific system driver, Press Windows Key + R then type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter. Here on the device manager expand Network adapters then right-click on your installed network adapter and select Update Driver Software. Then choose Search automatically for updated driver software.

AND FINALLY REMOVE AND REINSTALL DRIVER
Reinstall Network Adapter Driver
Again open the device manager. To do this first you need to press Windows Key + R and then in the run dialogue box, you need to type “devmgmt.msc” and press the Enter key. Click on the Network Adaptor to expand its option and then right-click on the Network Adaptor and choose Uninstall Now. If any confirmation window will appear then choose Yes.
