Scale/Resize objects using tape measure tool in SketchUp
Here's a quick video on how to scale objects in Google SketchUp with precision using the tape measure tool.
Tips:
-Make sure to work in the correct units. You can set units in the Model Info dialog.
-If you want to scale only a part of your model or a group/component, make sure it’s selected or open for editing.
-You can also use the Scale tool (S) for more interactive scaling by dragging the handles on the bounding box of the selected object.
