After the expected, but nether-the-less depressing, success of Keir Starmer's Labour in the UK General Election, Lucy and I headed to Port Eliot, near St. Germans for The Wild Gardens Festival.
Dance music, football, fair ground rides, and letting the hair down were on the cards after a stressful few weeks getting sucked back into the online political theatre.
No one here gave a damn about the latter, no one knows about the Lammy, Vallance and Co Clown Show unfolding, it literally could have been the end of the world, and no one here knew.
Worth thinking about. It was nice to chill again :)
