[Tawhid] The Story of 4 Meccans Who Entered Paradise Before Converting to Islam
In the pre-prophetic phase, although the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim had been amended by Amr ibn Luhay, there were some people, as narrated in the Sirah Nabawiyah, who did not follow Amr ibn Luhay's amended teachings.
They did not worship idols, but they did not know how to worship properly.
They are:
1. Waraqah bin Nawfal bin Asad bin Abdul Uzza
bin Qusayy bin Kilab bin Murrah bin Kaab bin Luay
2. Ubaidullah bin Jahsy bin Ri’ab bin Ya’mar
bin Shabrah bin Murrah bin Kabir bin Ghanm
bin Dudan bin Asad bin Khuzaimah
(his mother's name was Umaimah bint Abdul Muttalib)
3. Uthman bin Al-Huwairith bin Asad bin Abdul Uzza
bin Qusayy bin Kilab bin Murrah bin Kaab bin Luay
4. Zaid bin Amr bin Nufail bin Abdul Uzza
bin Abdullah bin Qurth bin Riyah bin Razah
bin Adi bin Ka’ab bin Luay
