If you've written a chorus, it can be difficult to see how you should write a verse that suits it. This video looks at commonalities between verses, and how they compare to their choruses. Not too far from now we'll be able to use these rules to write a whole song.
In this series of videos, I attempt to build a set of rules for you to follow to help you write a whole song. We started with the chorus because if we don't get that right, it'll be hard to make the whole song work. This video is obviously about the verse.
