In this video we have covered our journey from Lachen to Lachung and our visit to the beautiful tourist places in Lachung - Zero point, Yumthang valley, & Katao. This was Day 4 & 5 of our sikkim trip.
We undertook this North Sikkim tour in December 2019. We booked packaged tour from Siliguri that included Gangtok local sightseeing, Nathula pass, Baba Mandir, Changu Lake, and North Sikkim tour. The packaged tour included food, sightseeing, permit and stay.
On our journey to Lachung, we saw mesmerising scenic beauty, snowcovered mountains, waterfalls and enjoyed the best of Nature in its purest form. If you visit Sikkim, then do not miss our North sikkim tour - Lachen & Lachung. It takes approx. 3-4 hours from Lachen to Lachung.
**Best Time to Visit North Sikkim**
To see sonwfall, December is the best month. However, during this time, most of the tourist spots on high altitude remain inaccessible. So, plan your trip accordingly. November and April-May are the best time when you can reach all the places as snowfall is less during that time.

**Packaged Tour Details**
From Siliguri bustand, we booked package tour that included visit to Nathula, Gangtok local sighseeing, and North sikkim (lachen and lachung). Our package included transport on shared basis, stay in north sikkim, permits and food. Only our hotel in gangtok was booked separately by us online and the rest of the trip and transport was under package. The cost of sikkim package tour that we booked from siliguri was 14,000 for two of us.
