Sonic Mania Plus Unused Content - Switch Between Mania and Encore While Playing (Secret Cheat Code)

While Rubberduckycooly was playing around with Mania, he activated a "developer" platform (compared to the normal PC, Switch, PS4, and XBO platforms). This developer platform is essentially the same as the PC platform, but pressing the key bound to the "Z" button allows you to switch between Mania and Encore modes while playing a level.

This switch sometimes "messes up" in levels due to the differences in how Mania handles palettes in Encore vs. Mania modes. So, in most levels, the palette does not fully swap back to the Mania Mode palette. This video showcases some levels where it swaps back correctly.
The developer platform also enables a Vape Mode flag in the Debug Flags in the Dev Menu.
