2013 Ford Escape 1.6L - Stand Pipe - Recall Issues
2013 Ford Escape was brought to me from a used car lot that had repaired accident damage. Afterwards the car would go into a reduced power mode with in a minute of a cold start reporting that the car was overheating. These were the main codes I was chasing, P1299 (cylinder head overtemperature protection active), U1035 (lost comm w/engine coolant level sensor), U0284 (lost communication with active grille shutter module).
