The Model 37 AKA Ithaca 37 is a pump action shotgun used by the United States Army during World War 2, The Vietnam War, and the Korean War. It is known to have the longest production run of any pump action shotguns, over 2 million sold over its 80 year history.
In Battlefield V, this shotgun is unique because of its ability to slam fire. It has the second highest rate of fire out of all the shotguns (150 RPM default, 180 RPM if you equip Trigger Job). It has a very high potential for damage and one shot kills at very close range. Damage will drop though beyond 7 meters, but it makes up for it with its tighter spread and fast rate of fire. Under specializations, you can choose between HEAVY LOAD (increases damage at range) or INTERNAL CHOKE (tightens spread, increases accuracy).
SPECIALIZATION TREE:
LEFT SIDE:
1. Quick Reload
2. Slings and Swivels (less time to switch weapons and aim from sprint)
3. Extended Magazine (5 to 7)
4. Internal Choke (Tighter Spread)
RIGHT SIDE:
1. Penetrating Shot (pellets penetrate enemies allowing to damage other enemies from behind)
2. Bayonet
3. Trigger Job (Increase ROF from 150 to 180)
4. Heavy Load (extend damage at distance by 2 meters)
Being a NOOB, I was able to achieve easy multi kills with this gun. It's that easy to use.
