AI learning Assistant on Unschooler
We have redesigned the AskAI and Highlight Button into a single component for several reasons:
1. Ask AI + Highlights: Combining these two elements makes the interface less confusing when people encounter various buttons in different places.
2. AI Assistant Integration: We are gradually preparing to integrate an AI Assistant with voice capabilities, allowing students to interact directly on the page. Therefore, we need a single, clear location for students to seek engagement. For example, we have added an AI assistant in our help course trained on our documentation. 3. Enhanced Highlights Interaction: We addressed the use case where someone wants to add additional notes, such as not just generating an image for a highlighted fragment but adding its style or requesting an example from a specific domain. Sometimes, highlights and text selection are not suitable or sufficient for what I would like to achieve as a course creator.
