Suburban Expansion & Golf Course | Eden Valley
🏙️ Cities: Skylines - Expanding Eden Valley’s Suburbs & a Scenic Golf Course:
🏡⛳ Eden Valley continues to grow! In Episode 16, we develop a vast suburban residential area with a mix of low- and high-density zoning. To create variety, I’ve used different architectural styles, including buildings from the Queens & Brooklyn DLC alongside the standard North American style.
I’ve also added a small prison and at the heart of the neighborhood, there’s a classic North American-style intersection with commercial buildings like a motel, shops, and parking lots.
The highlight of this episode is the brand-new golf course! Built near the railway, I carefully placed trees to frame the fairways and used sand tiles with dirt paths to represent bunkers, adding realism to the design.
In this episode, I focused on the key elements of the build, such as the road layout and the golf course design. While the full development of the residential area - like houses gradually appearing - isn’t shown, the final result can be seen in the Final Build Overview at the end of the video!
