NYC Inspired Elevated Metro | Eden Valley
🏙️ Cities: Skylines - NYC Inspired overground metro:
In Episode 21 of Eden Valley, we expand the city center below the car factory and next to Downtown. The new district, Queensboro, is inspired by New York neighborhoods like Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx.
The highlight of this episode is the elevated metro line, built directly over the streets – just like the iconic "El Trains" in NYC! This kind of construction is normally not possible in Cities: Skylines without mods. However, I managed to make it work using the "Monorail Tracks on Six-Lane Road with Tram Tracks" from the Mass Transit DLC.
Between Downtown and Queensboro, we’ve also developed an additional urban area featuring industrial buildings like a bakery and a toy factory, a city library, and a brand-new highway interchange. The heart of Eden Valley is almost complete!
