The story of South Africa apartheid and why it is relatable for what is happening now.

For centuries, systems of division shaped this country, from colonial rule in the 1800s to the rise of apartheid, where laws separated people by race and controlled every aspect of life.

Although apartheid officially ended in the 1990s, its impact is still visible today. Cities remain divided, opportunities are unequal, and for many people, where you are born still determines your future.

In this documentary, I travel across South Africa to understand how history built this reality , and why the divide still exists today.
