Designed specifically for sampling and monitoring confined spaces, before and after entry, Honeywell BW™ Ultra offers enhanced sensor technology, visibility on gas readings, comfort, and connectivity. The can detect up to five gases at once with 5 separate built-in sensors. In general, the Ultra will ship with sensors for the standard four gases that you’re required to monitor in a confined space - O2, H2S, CO, and LEL - but you can also add a fifth depending on your application. The BW™ Ultra has a 8.1 cm (3.2 inch) screen and very high resolution, so you can quickly determine the level of each gas present even in cramped spaces where mobility and visibility are limited. Designed for harsh conditions, the BW™ Ultra also features a very high ingress protection rating of IP66/68, meaning the unit is protected not only from dust but also from water ingress. Don't worry about dropping the Honeywell BW™ Ultra in a vat or dust-prone environment - the unit will continue to operate effectively even after harsh abuse.
The BW™ Ultra is available with Bluetooth wireless connectivity for use with the Honeywell Safety Communicator mobile app and Device Configurator desktop software. The detector’s gas readings and location can be instantly sent via Bluetooth to Honeywell’s real-time monitoring software, viewable from a control room or other remote locations. If there’s an emergency, you now have an extra layer of monitoring for coordinated response.
The Honeywell BW™ Ultra also breaks the mold of other portable gas detectors with the 1‑Series sensor, which is compact, square, and one-third the height of the industry standard. That slim profile makes for a lighter, slimmer detector and also ensures quicker sensor response time, because the gas diffuses into it more quickly. These sensors come with a standard 3-year warranty.
