LOS ANGELES: November 14th 2010 marked the third and final day at the 4th Annual MockFilmFest, held at the Raleigh Studios in Hollywood. The award for best MockFeature went to "Take 22: Behind The Scenes of Sequestered". Best Actor went to the amazing 'Rick Overton' who has kept Hollywood laughing in so many films and venues. 'Dave Thomas' from SCTV makes an appearance and got nominated for best supporting actor, while the hysterical Malcolm In The Middle's 'Gary Anthony Williams' and 'Tom Wilson' from "Back to the Future" got nods for best cameos. And somehow we were blessed to get the insanity of 'Mitch Silpa', 'Beth Burns', 'Kevin Kirkpatrick', 'Ben Falcone' and 'Patrick Devine' of 'The Groundlings' to join us! David Letterman's Chris Pina who played the inspired Producer, Todd Hunter, carries this film and the amazing assemble. Our DP was the visually savvy Jim Hagopian. Edited by the amazing Aaron Barrocas from an 80 hour pile of joyous love provided by writer/director Michael Bayouth. The improv actors are the actual writers here. They are all very talented and way too many to actually mention all of them here. But basically Hollywood turned out for "Take 22."
