Sparks, Smoke, and Text Engraving with After Effects
Learn how to use the CC Particle Systems II effect to create sparks and smoke for a kind of laser etching/engraving text reveal. Use the source alpha inheritance to emit particles from the alpha channel (text), use a mask tracked to a null object in order to automate the reveal, and use the CC Repetile and Channel Blur effects. No plugins!
