Xiaomi Yi Upgraded Microphone Mod
This is a walkthrough of the modification I made to the Xiaomi Yi HD Sports Action Camera to swap out the stock microphone for a better one.
This is most useful for quadcopter/drone/multirotor pilots who need better audio from the Yi for their video capture.
I hope that by sharing this, many other pilots who use the Y i can benefit and improve their video footage.
