Dolphin - Beginner Exploration - Build and Tutorial - Part 2 - Elite Dangerous
Greetings Commanders,
This is the Dolphin and the best logical step to your next exploration vessel. The Dolphin is such an easy upgrade from the Cobra Mk 3, that almost all the modules will transfer straight over, with the exception of the Life Support. This makes it a very cheap and easy upgrade, especially now that you should have a few Million Credits from your use in the Cobra. :)
This ship is a fantastic mid tier exploration ship, it's very cheap for how well it performs and can be improved even further if you have unlocked the Guardian FSD Boosters. But even without the Booster the ship still has a very good max jump range of 52.73 LY (with engineering the FSD) and it's equipped with very decent internals for exploration.
