Google Chrome users are complaining once more of "Aw Snap!" crashes as the Code Integrity feature got re-enabled in the latest version of the browser, released yesterday. 12/17/2019

The error is caused by incompatible software on the system. Initially reported by users running an outdated version of Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP), the problem was soon confirmed to occur with other software.

In an update on the matter, Google listed PC Matic, Palo Alto Networks' Traps security products, and the Print Audit Infinite document printing tracker as having a problem with the code integrity protection in the browser.

STEPS ON FIXING BROWSER

1.CLOSE ALL BROWSER PAGES
2.FIND YOUR GOOGLE ICON ON DESKTOP OR START MENU
3.RIGHT CLICK YOUR ICON AND HIT PROPERTIES
4.SELECT "OPEN LOCATION" FIELD
5. RENAME THE CHROME.EXE TO CHROME..EXE
6. IN YOUR GOOGLE CHROME PROPERTIES WINDOW, CHANGE GOOGLE.EXE TO GOOGLE..EXE
7. HIT OK

START GOOGLE AS YOU NORMALLY WOULD.

NOTE:
DO NOT UPDATE YOUR CHROME ONCE YOU'VE DONE THIS BY GOING TO HELP AND ABOUT. IF YOU DO, THE APPLICATION WILL CREATE A GOOGLE.EXE IN THE FOLDER AND PUSH YOU BACK TO THE BROKEN ONE.

Once Google Releases their next build, that should fix our problem permanently! (or until they break it again! LOL)

IF You Rather not fiddle with it, you can download Google Canary

(A Chrome Browser Also Owned By Google.)
