Web scraping is the process of scraping or extracting data from websites using programs or other tools. And in this video lesson, we will learn about the scrapy spider's parse( ) method which receives the response of the sent request.

parse( ) is the default callback used by Scrapy to process downloaded responses, when their requests don’t specify a callback.
The parse method is in charge of processing the response and returning scraped data and/or more URLs to follow. Other Requests callbacks have the same requirements as the Spider class.
This method, as well as any other Request callback, must return an iterable of Request and/or item objects.
