You're a Ukrainian forced to leave your home because of war. You were promised free housing, work, support, a residence permit... But is it true?
This video is an honest, unvarnished account from someone who has been observing the lives of Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic since 2022. I don't judge your choice, but I want you to know everything BEFORE you move.
⚠️ Here's what they're keeping quiet about:
• Free housing is temporary
• Work isn't for everyone: without Czech, only construction or cleaning jobs
• Children in school: yes, free, but integration is difficult without the language
• Psychological isolation: many feel "second-class"
• Residence permit under protection is not permanent residence: you need to confirm your status after 1-2 years
• Prices are rising, and benefits are being cut (2024-2025)
• Attitude of locals: not friendly everywhere, especially in small towns
This video is not a call not to go, but a warning. So that you arrive prepared, not disappointed.
If you're already in the Czech Republic, let me know in the comments: does your experience match what I'm describing?
If you're just planning a move, save this video and rewatch it before you decide.
