Synopsis: Beatriz goes to her sweetheart Thomas's house and turns on the gas to commit suicide. She remembers that her father employed the young man when he was studying architecture and that he fell in love with her. They were going to get married, but Roberto, a suitor for his money, hired a detective who discovered that Thomas's father, whom he didn't know, was Black. Beatriz's father kicked Thomas out. He went to live with his father. His father finds Beatriz and his son dead.
