In this video I review the Nikon 85mm Z f1.2 S lens on a Nikon Z8. Is this the best portrait lens in the world?
I have used this lens before but in this video I use it for the first time outside. This whole video is behind the scenes on a natural light portrait shoot.
I love 85mm prime lenses. As you may know, my Sony 85mm f1.8 lens is my second most used lens behind my 35mm. I love to use it for portraits, especially at wide apertures where I can use it to shoot through things in front of the camera to create foreground bokeh. What I have never been able to do before however is shoot an 85mm lens at 1.2... so I was really excited for this shoot!
