Stimming: 15 Minutes with SOMA LABORATORY Rumble Of Ancient Times
Stimming is back for another 15 Minutes with and this time he dives into the SOMA LABORATORY Rumble Of Ancient Times aka The RoAT, an 8-bit noise synthesizer and sequencer capable of a wide variety of sounds, ranging from dense noise scapes to diverse glitching rhythmic patterns.
Lying at the heart of the RoAT is four sound oscillators, each with tuneable waveforms and an individual LFO. The synth was designed and programmed by Kakos Nonos, a new addition to the SOMA development team who brought his creative touch to this machine. Let’s see what Stimming can come up with and hear his thoughts about this strange little synthesizer, currently on the market for a mere 155,- Euros.
