From the one-of-a-kind inclusive film crew, The Periscope Crew, comes the powerful documentary, ‘Everywhere’.
Infinite perspectives, limitless resilience, and a celebration of the human spirit—’Everywhere’ tells the story of what happens when you give young people the chance to show what they are capable of. The Periscope Crew was invited to join the media teams for the World Transplant Games in Perth, April 2023. This documentary captures the Crew’s incredible growth during that week, made even more remarkable because they are a young crew all living with disabilities.
Initially hired to film extra sports footage for major media companies and capture the Games’ spirit, The Periscope Crew attended 17 sport events at venues across Perth. They built genuine connections with transplant athletes and donor families from 80 different countries. By doing things their own way, they earned trust and captured transplant stories that no one else had, revealing the 'gift of life' that is the World Transplant Games.
‘Everywhere’ is a compelling tale and a world-first, bringing together key interviews and the Crew’s own footage from the Games. It’s not just about The Periscope Crew but also produced by them, with mentor support from the team at Sum Effect Studio.
Audiences will emerge from ‘Everywhere’ inspired to embrace a world where everyone sees beyond disability. The Periscope Crew hopes that, just as they were, you will be profoundly changed by every transplant athlete’s extraordinary ability to celebrate life.
