Running Solar Power Through the Windlass? E82
In this episode onboard our Leopard 45 Sailing Catamaran we take on the ambitious project of adding solar panels to our boat by ourselves. Having more would help keep our batteries full during the sunlight, which will probably enable us to run our air conditioner all night without stress.
Our friends on Sailing Dauntless told us that they lay portable solar panels on the trampoline after they drop their anchor, so we decided to give it a try.
