The World's MOST Pretentious Anime (Part 1)
Many casual anime watchers will disregard avant-garde style anime as pretentious simply because it has an experimental style. However, it is ridiculous to believe that just because an anime is ambitious in its presentation, it finds itself more important than it actually is. If you look at the literal definition of "pretentious," you'll find it hard to identify an anime as pretentious with their current method. On the other hand, I have found an anime that most could say is pretentious despite its conventional presentation. I think most would find my method of identifying pretentious anime quite reasonable.
