It's really important to me that this school is not only innovative in the way that it is built, but that our curriculum is really innovative for students. And it creates opportunities for them to find their place in the world and to make a difference as they grow up and they leave school.
I have two goals. Firstly is where I work with the community to create the very best local co-educational school I can.
The second part is what the system might be able to learn. There are going to need to be more schools built and I think the work we are doing here will inform that. We not only create school here but we create some thinking and ideas and opportunities for other people to think about as well.
I would love to think that within a decade people coming from all over the world to visit Richmond High School to see what we've done, what we've achieved, how have we made this difference, and how are our students there for making a difference after that.
