Here at JonsBones we believe in preserving medical history and furthering education. Working with SAR dog trainers is one of the ways we adhere to our values. We are so glad that these bones are helping trainers and helping solve crimes.
Search and Rescue dogs can detect faint traces of human tissue, and the less reliant they are on soft tissue, the more effective they are at locating remains, and the more helpful they are to law enforcement efforts. The FBI requires 90% accuracy in the dogs that they use for human remains recovery, and training with real bones helps not only determine a dog’s efficacy, but keeps their skills sharp.
We are so happy that Reef and Robert have found success with the bones they purchased from us, and are excited to continue our work with the SAR community.
