Here I show running Davinci Resolve Studio inside distrobox on steam deck.

To start Qt on display on steam deck run following command from steamdeck terminal then start install
xhost +local:* :Make sure you run this before entering your container or display access will not work

Crate distrobox container
distrobox-create --name resolve --image fedora:37

Enter distrobox container
distrobox enter resolve

Update container after creation
sudo dnf update

You must have these installed in fedora container
sudo dnf install libxcrypt-compat fuse-libs rocm-opencl

sudo dnf install alsa-lib apr apr-util libglvnd-egl libglvnd-opengl libXcursor libxkbcommon-x11 mtdev pulseaudio-libs xcb-util xcb-util-image xcb-util-keysyms xcb-util-renderutil xcb-util-wm

You must run resolve installer with sudo due to the nature of SteamOS on steam deck
cd Downloads
sudo ./DaVinci_Resolve_Studio_18.5b5_Linux.run

After install change to install folder
cd /opt/resolve/bin

run resolve
./resolve

Stop distrobox container
distrobox stop resolve
