ComAp´s Bi-fuel Solution for Mining Trucks
ComAp Russia has set up a long-term partnership with an opencast mine owner from the city of Novokuzněck in Central Siberia, Russia. The cost of rock mass transportation is the largest part of the total opencast mining costs. So, in order to increase the economic efficiency of the mine and reduce transportation costs, the dual-fuel solution was ideal for a fleet of BELAZ 7513 mining trucks with a carrying capacity of 130 tons and Cummins diesel KTA50 engines.
