A White Monkey job is a phenomenon in China where Chinese companies often hire white foreigners to pose as experts and whatnot to project a sense of legitimacy. They call these workers “White Monkeys.”
On today's episode, we hear David's hilarious undercover saga as a “corporate actor” (a.k.a White Monkey) in China.
David’s job was far more intense than the typical White Monkey job as he had to go undercover and rub elbows with some of the most elite people in Shanghai, many of whom spoke English.
We also got into David's tumultuous recent trip to rehab, his time in French culinary school, his experience as a p**n writer, and one of the filthiest stories in RTS history.
